VBS Week: Camp Activities
During VBS last week our kids made crafts, played games, watched a drama, learned about our mission: The Heifer Project, rocked out to the worship of Rob Biagi, and learned about Jesus’ disciple Peter!
Guys Night Out
Last Friday night, men from our church community joined together to watch the Angels vs. Dodgers game on the big screens, play games, eat good food and enjoy fellowship with each other. Stay tuned for more men’s fellowship opportunities later this year!
Young Adults Dine & Bowl

VBS Week: Son Rock Kids Camp

“The Noise We Make” Rock Camp
Monday – Friday, August 3 – 7, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Kids ages 7 – 17, join us for a week-long camp with quality, dynamic and fun group musical instruction at St. Andrew’s. Cost is $125/person for the week. For more info, contact the Music Office, 949.574.2253.

Our staff enjoyed a day of food, fun and sun this past Tuesday to celebrate and appreciate each other for a day and enjoy the start of summer. We hope you enjoy these fun pictures of our staff family!
Guy’s Night Out is this Friday!

Don’t miss this night of fun! Bring your friends, and come hang out with other guys from our church community. We’ll barbeque and watch the Angels vs. Dodgers game on the big screens in the Youth Center. We’ll also play the Wii, foosball and ping-pong. See you there!

Greg Vail has toured and recorded with some of the hottest names in the jazz, pop, and Christian music scenes including Rick Braun, Peter White, Greg Adams, Josh Groban, Petra, Crystal Lewis, Natalie Cole, Al Jarreau, Michael McDonald, Earth Wind and Fire, and Smokey Robinson. Over the last 30 years, Vail has also made appearances for everything from television and cable, BET Jazz, History, Fox News, TBN, to the national commercial for TimeLife Records promoting the renowned Sax by Candlelight and Sax by Moonlight CDs which sold in the millions worldwide.
In addition to his reputation as an artist/performer, Greg Vail has made a name for himself as an educator in the Internet world with dozens of educational music sites online and ongoing contributions to Forums, Blogs and News Groups. In his own words, “We have to learn all we can, and then give it away to ever really make a diff erence.”
Saxophonist Greg Vail has been a vital participant in the music industry over the last few decades and will continue to grow to be one of the most prolific musicians on the instrumental jazz scene. In the words of the national jazz author, Jonathan Widran, “Whether [he is] blowing a tenderly passionate soprano sax, firing up his exciting and playful alto, or edging into a more aggressive stance with his brilliant technique on tenor sax, Greg Vail is a show stopper nonpareil, and one of the most dynamic saxophone players on today’s instrumental scene.” Greg Vail is scheduled to release his new album “Smooth Jazz Classics” in 2009.
