Cherub Choir Leads Worship
St Andrews’ Cherub Choir recently led our Training Wheels kids in a special Sunday of Worship! Miss Donna and the choir joyfully taught our Training Wheels preschoolers some great new songs. We also learned more about praising God and thanking Him through music!
Making friends at church is a big part of our program!

Our Training Wheels preschoolers know that prayer is talking to God…

Dad’s Night at Parent/Child
One of the highlights of the Parent/Child school year is Daddy Nights! This is a special night set aside and is offered as an extra class just for dads and their children. Their child shows them all that they do at their school. The evening ends with a short music time. Yes, your heart is so blessed to hear a group of dads sing “Jesus Loves Me!” with great enthusiasm.
P.S. Do you know WHY we don’t call Parent/Child “Mommy and Me?” Because our DADS are just as welcomed and involved as moms are in our program!

Along with their parents, they also attended a workshop on using their new Bibles and a brunch in Dierenfield Hall. Enjoy “wearing out” your new Bibles! And remember what Pastor Rich said? “PEOPLE WHO HAVE BIBLES THAT ARE FALLING APART, HAVE LIVES THAT ARE NOT!” Plus what Ethan shared? B.I.B.L.E. = Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!

New WNT Starts Tomorrow
Join us tomorrow night for our next Wednesday Night Together series on 1 John – “Living in the Love of God” April 21-June 9. In these current times, much like the days of the early church, people want to make up their own idea of God and thus their own idea of love. This 8-week series, taught by Rev. Tim Yee, Dr. Dennis Okholm and Dr. Mickey Klink, will take a look at the poignant words in John’s letter that speaks to believers today about the God Jesus reveals and the love Jesus reveals.

Die to Themselves: Tecate
70+ St. Andrew’s Attendees Die (to themselves) in Tecate, Mexico:
Last weekend, over 70 of our best and brightest went to serve down in Tecate, Mexico, April 8-11, for a Spring Work Project. Made up of various generations from St. Andrew’s, it was a great time of serving, sharing and growing as a community of Christ together. Various projects included 2 house buildings, Rancho San Juan Bosco Boys orphanage ministry, and VBS ministry to the community of El Mirador. Throughout the weekend, students and adults alike were privileged to serve the Lord in such capacities and challenge themselves to live out Philippians chapter 2. The theme for the weekend was “One in Death, One in Love, One in Life,” and the team t-shirts themselves even reflected this theme of unity in serving Christ by imitating his love for the poor and oppressed. Overall, this trip was a huge blessing not only to the quaint (and very safe) community of Tecate, but even moreso to those who went on the trip. Led by Jessica Ludwig, Shawn Reilly and Tim Burnette, as well as various other staff members, this trip was a huge success in teaching those involved to die to themselves for the sake of others and a great way to challenge the complacency that can so easily impart itself upon “comfortable” Americans. Keep an eye out for future trips down to Tecate as a way to join in the mission of the church to serve the Lord around the globe, and as a chance to grab your family and pull them in to a life of serving Christ!
Peace and Blessings.
Love,
The Tecate Planning Team
