On Easter Sunday, over sixty people gathered in Laura Johnson’s back yard to celebrate the resurrection of our Risen Lord with residents and graduates of the Heritage House. Twenty St. Andrew’s members helped Laura lead a time of worship, plan a wonderful brunch for the Heritage House families, as well as run an Easter egg hunt for the children. All fifteen women currently in the Heritage House program came with their children. They were joined by nineteen women and children who have graduated the program and are currently living at the Orange County Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and sharing as many of the girls were able to experience the true blessing of this holiday for the first time.
This Sunday, April 11, Heritage House and Teen Challenge residents will be joining us for worship at the 11:11 a.m. worship service. Please join us for worship, fellowship and brunch in Dierenfield Hall following the service.

Here is a teaser for our Easter Offering that is being taking on April 3-4, 2010. This offering will help support our local Royal Family Kids’ Camp and disaster relief efforts in Haiti and Chile.
Each year, on the Thursday before Easter, we observe Maundy Thursday (or Holy Thursday) as a service of reflection and communion. It is a time to remember and consider what Christ’s sacrifice means for us – to spend time in meditation to confess our sins and know how he suffered for those sins to be forgiven. Every two months, the Jr High and HS students participate in an activity between worship services to be a blessing to the congregation. This month the students helped pass out the palm branches for the Palm Sunday services.
Easter Worship Services are at 5:30 p.m. on Holy Saturday
7:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning
Children in 1st – 6th grade are invited to worship with their families at all four services.
Children in pre-school – Kindergarten will participate in TrainingWheels classes (except for the 7 a.m. service on Sunday – there is childcare but no TrainingWheels class).
Nursery care will be provided for infants, toddlers and two-year-old children during all four worship services.
Join us for a unique presentation of the life of Christ through “living” reproductions of famous works of art. A beautiful blending of art, drama and music. (Laguna Pageant of the Masters style.)
