We pray for the Kenya Team of college students and team leaders as they are currently ministering to local orphanages, holding sports and music camps, and working with medical dispensaries. We pray for their health, safe return home August 15, and that their experience while serving You draws them nearer to You, Lord. We pray for the orphanages and children whose lives will be changed and that they may know You and continue to seek You from having been a part of this experience.
Please keep the Kenya Team in the prayers as they depart St. Andrew’s for a long trip over to Kenya, Africa. May God use them in miraculous ways.

Sixty-two women from all parts of Romania gathered for three days at Hotel Cocor near Constanta on the Black Sea. Some traveled all night on the train to be at the conference. Most of the women who attended were under 40 years of age and the youngest attendees were in their teens. It was an intergenerational event!
One of the goals of the conference was to give the women an opportunity to be in a relaxed, spiritually nurturing environment away from their routine busy lives and make them feel special. Gifts for the women were very well received as women thanked us for the devotional book Jesus Calling, their journals, jewelry, scarves, and cosmetics that were collected by the Women in Management and others in the St. Andrew’s congregation.
We pray for the Uganda Team as they are currently working with Juna Amagara Ministries and teaching on Proverbs in local schools and churches. We pray for good health, a safe return home on July 24, and their experience of getting to know You better, Lord, through the opportunity to serve. May all the people they share your Word with be forever changed.
We pray for a safe return home tomorrow for the women of St. Andrew’s who have been serving You this past week at the Romania Women’s Conference, Lord. We pray for the Romanian women who attended the conference that they have been encouraged, uplifted, and renewed by You through this conference.

500 kids + 5 days + $10,406 raised = 178 Free wheel chairs!!! Gaining a Lifetime with Jesus = Priceless!!!
Our kids at Vacation Bible School last week were encouraged to do extra chores around the house and come up with creative ways to make extra money to donate to their VBS Mission, Free Wheelchair Mission. Free Wheelchair Mission is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to providing wheelchairs for the impoverished disabled in developing nations. Kids held car washes and lemondae stands, cookie sales, and did lots and lots of chores to serve this mission and raise so much money. Way to go kids!!! You changed 178 people’s lives and showed them the love of Jesus Christ.

We recently sent a mission team to the earthquake ravaged country of Haiti. It was an eye opening experience into poverty and devastation. This just in… the high school group was able to get access to a pay phone yesterday afternoon while on the trail from Havasupai (at the bottom of the Grand Canyon) back up to the top of the canyon. Dave Ludwig reported that the group had an amazing time hiking, swimming, jumping off waterfalls, and studying the Lord’s Prayer together. He says that everyone has been in good spirits and loving their time together. The group hiked 10 miles UP the canyon in 100 degree heat while carrying backpacks that are at least 30 lbs each yesterday. It was a long and tiring day! Please keep them in your prayers for their trip home today. They will return this afternoon.
