Soup Supper 2008
Thanks to everyone who came down to the “The House” for Soup Supper on Saturday night.
The kids performed a skit about Santa telling his favorite Christmas story: Jesus’ birth. Santa explained to the wild animals about the importance of Jesus’ birth, and the reason we celebrate it every year.

Advent Season at “The House”
With Christmas quickly approaching, the student ministries staff decided to deck the halls of “The House.” They picked out a Christmas Tree today to help “The House” feel more like a home.
Here are a few pictures of the Student Ministries staff selecting their perfect Christmass Tree.

Students are each bringing an ornament that represents them to decorate the tree at Refuge and Asylum this week, so be sure to stop by and see the tree full of personality.
College & Young Adult Thanksgiving Feast
Last Tuesday night the college group and young adult group held a combined Thanksgiving Feast in “The House” They expected about 45 people, but ended up serving dinner for 66! All sorts of old friends came to celebrate and be thankful together.
Big thanks to everyone for bringing different dishes, especially our turkey bakers!
